Subterfuge, Diversions and Translucency

You know it takes courage to take a decision.. Sometimes you experience the subterfuge of underhand dealings that happen not to be criminal in nature but simply sinister in form, expectantly lethal in effect and targeted in focus..

Oh yes! but where is this from? You will not want to know.. !!

Indeed when one comes across this, one wonders whether all the hassle of hiding behind the wall and shouting -or better still - calling out that someone should come and catch you forgetting that you are just behind that wall ...

You know these days, even the thickest of walls can be broken down.. and one will sooner find himself behind a thin veil of deceit and but ironically verbiage or intellectual missteps popularly referred to as intellectual dishonesty.

Well, so what the hell am I talking about? Pardon me for my uncouth language... never mind, its not part of the traits of my lineage.. :-)

It is rare to be the source of a diversion - or better still a diversion for a decision ... I am sure you are asking what on earth is a diversion in this context … it is called managerial swerving when it is deliberately done to ensure that a known trajectory or trajectories of actions is/are deflected from its/their set path.

It would be very surprising if one is not expecting such an action then one has to spend time unraveling the whys and the hows … in this case however, the beauty of it all is that like the battlefield, the anticipation of such action forms part of the skin thickening process that ensures that one is immune or prepared for it ...

…and when you have to stand behind an opaque window afterwards and ask your companion whether he can see the very nice butterfly flying around on the other side of the glass, it becomes patently funny that one will assume that there is such shallowness of thought, such narrowness of mind and such lack of depth in perception that translucency takes on a whole new meaning.....

.... that this world is truly round - except that in this digital age, you only have to be stupid not to be able to decipher what it means to be in the headlines of the paper.

Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to read the headlines.. but I am patient enough to also wait to read the sequel in tomorrow's paper!!!!

So once again I say, subterfuge, diversions and translucency are mere cousins that have a place in meaning but have no place in effectiveness or impact ...

After all, he who has a cupboard full of sand, struggles to keep the door shut because when it all dries up, it might just become like the hour glass – run until it all runs out and all you have to do is probably recognize that time is up or you simply flip it over and await for the next run …

Is there a suspense..? I know there is none!! Is there a sequel? I hope there is one ... I love the movies too … but most importantly - music accompanied by matching lights greatly illuminates and freshens the mind, what is even more important is that music being played must match the mood on the ground - but why should the wires be remotely controlled.

People forget that when the battery runs out, the remote control will work no longer.. that is why there is always the need to buy a sound system that has manual controls so that - just in case - and only just in case - you lose your battery, you can just get up and make your changes with the replacement... else you have to get in your car to go looking for your batteries - and what if the film is a one-off movie, or the shops are all closed? You miss the movie, you lose the time and you gain the inconvenience!!

They say you only get one chance to act stupid before you are labeled as such … so why not act with caution in all that you do..

If you are calculating in your action steps, make sure that, your decision path is not tainted with what you will have to live to regret one day - because you will be left hanging. oh dear subterfuge, diversions and translucency, where art thou?

If you have nothing to do, don’t get it done. If you have nothing to say, don’t let us know.. in this case, silence is only silver...sanctity of mind and purpose is the golden egg that well-meaning people can actually thrive on...

we shall bring that magnifying glass and the pipette and we are sure that simple exposure to sunlight will not only show the bright spots but will cast their shadows on the edges of deceit.

If you care to bother, don’t make friends with subterfuge, diversions and translucency. Check out of a room full of subterfuge, diversions and translucency and you will find a hotel full of subterfuge, diversions and translucency waiting to be discovered for free ... and guess what!! you always have to use subterfuge, diversions and translucency to maintain your subterfuge, diversions and translucency… how long can you keep up this posture.

It will indeed be quite a pleasure to have an above-board, direct and transparently sweet sleep.

Why will you do something to the contrary...?

What a dilemma!!
